Our arabica is grown by smallholder farmers on the volcanic soils of Mt. Elgon in eastern Uganda — high altitude, rich soil, and generations of coffee-growing knowledge.
We buy directly from smallholder farming families around Mt. Elgon, building long-term relationships rather than one-off purchases.
Farmers are paid a fair price for their cherry, rewarding quality and giving them a stronger incentive to keep producing specialty-grade coffee.
High elevation and volcanic soil around Mt. Elgon give the beans natural sweetness, brightness, and body characteristic of fine Ugandan arabica.
