Imperial Coffee started with a simple premise: Mt. Elgon grows exceptional arabica, but too little of its value reaches the people who grow it. We work to change that on both ends of the chain.

We buy directly from smallholder farmers around Mt. Elgon, cutting out layers of middlemen so more of the value stays with the people who grow the coffee.

Careful selection and processing turn Mt. Elgon's high-altitude arabica into cups worth seeking out — quality that gives farmers a reason to keep investing in their trees.

Every lot is traceable to origin, compliant with EU deforestation regulation, and headed toward organic certification — so buyers in Europe and the USA can source with confidence.
